MLB Loves Jason Aldean

The American League won home-field advantage last night, defeating the National League 3-0 in the MLB All-Star game.  There are quite a few players in Major League Baseball that are big country music fans and almost every team has players that have chosen country songs for their “walk up” songs (the song played when they walk up to bat).  Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert the most popular among the players 11 of them are using Jason’s songs, My Kinda Party is the most played in the ballparks.  Missing from the list is Toronto Blue Jays catcher, J.P Arencibia…rumored BF of The Band Perry’s, Kimberly Perry.

Teams with the most country songs being used: Indians, Red Sox, Nationals, Diamondbacks and Giants.  Least “country” teams: Cubs, Padres, Brewers and Pirates…Zero country songs being used.

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott is due to give birth any day now!  She and her husband have been spending their last quiet days catching up the series Newsroom, starring Jeff Daniels. They also recently watched Les Miserables’ and according to Hillary, walked around the house singing every sentence they said.

Happy birthday to the ACM Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan! He is 37 today.

In the last 18 months, Kip Moore has released his debut album, Up All Night and scored a couple of #1 singles.  He is currently touring with Toby Keith.  When Kip has just a couple of days of he likes to head to the east coast for some surfing.  If he has a whole week, he enjoys surfing in Hawaii, Nicaragua or the Dominican Republic.
