Martina McBride Opening a Music School

Martina McBride and her husband John are opening a music school in Nashville.  The Blackbird Academy will be based out of the couples recording studio in their home, offering hands-on education for their students.

Reba and Kelly Clarkson go way back.  They recorded a duet together years ago and taped an episode of CMT Crossroads.  According to a tweet from Kelly earlier in the week, they are back in the studio together and have added Trisha Yearwood to the mix.  No word yet on when we’ll be able to hear what they have created.

John Rich isn’t just working on a new album with his friend Big Kenny, he is also getting his own reality show on the TV Guide Network.  Cameras will follow him around his home, at his shows and hanging out with fans to give you a glimpse into his life and will also include some surprise guests.  The Untitled John Rich Project will premiere this fall.

Carrie Underwood has released a trailer for her first live dvd.  The Blown Away Tour: Live will be available on August 13th.
