Luke Bryan Announces Tour

Luke Bryan performed an acoustic show at a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.  He wanted to do his part to help the facility that helped his family when his son, Bo, was 5 months old and had a stomach condition.  Luke announced his That’s My Kind of Night tour yesterday.  It will begin January 16th in Columbus, Ohio.

Late night talk show host, Jimmy Fallon was in Nashville recently and said he was avoiding John Rich (Big & Rich) while he was there.  Not because he thinks he’s a bad person but because the last time he hung out with John he started the night in New York City and he ended it in Nashville.  It was a fun but long night.  Jimmy is taping promos for his move to the Tonight Show.  He will take over for Jay Leno on February 17th.

Kenny Rogers new album, You Can’t Make Old Friends, has become his 22nd album to hit the top 10 on the country albums chart.  Kenny believes it’s the best album he’s recorded.  He’ll be performing a Christmas/Hits show at the State Farm Center on December 22. Tickets went on sale this morning.

The Henningsens will be in town tomorrow! The Atwood natives will be performing at the Illini Street Fest. It’s free to the public and the fun begins at 4:00 on First St. west of Memorial Stadium.  The Henningsens will perform at 5:00.
