Kix Brooks teaming up with Rascal Flatts’ Jay Demarcus
Kix Brooks teaming up with Rascal Flatts’ Jay Demarcus

Rascal Flatts wil co-headline a concert with Journey this summer. One night only, August 1, in Hershey, Pa.  The Band Perry and The Voice season 3 winner, Cassadee Pope will join them.

Kix Brooks and Rascal Flatts‘ Jay Demarcus are teaming up for some new music.  They will collaborate on the soundtrack for the movie Saving Santa, which they will both star in as well.  The film will be out later this year (judging from the title, I’d say around Christmas).

Sawyer Brown‘s lead singer, Mark Miller, has co-written and produced a movie titled, Ring the Bell.  The faith-based film was released on dvd, yesterday.

Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney will pay tribute to Alabama on their Alabama and Friends album.  The cd will feature the legendary group singing duets with the different acts and two new songs.

Brad Paisley will perform on Jay Leno tonight to promote his new new album, Wheelhouse.
