Kenny Chesney sets up fund for Boston

Kenny Chesney has established a fund for those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing. The fund will help pay for prosthetics, physical therapy and other medical needs through the Boston Medical Center.  Donations can be made online plus all of the proceeds from download sales of Kenny’s song, Spread the Love, will go to the fund.  The song is on Kenny’s new album, Life on a Rock, available today.

Chris Young will perform the National Anthem at the Aaron’s 312 NASCAR race Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.  The race will air at 2:00 on ESPN.  Also on Saturday, Martina McBride will perform the National Anthem at the Kentucky Derby, 4:00 on NBC.

Hillary Scott will return to The Voice on May 14th.  Lady Antebellum will perform on the show. The group has many television appearances scheduled in the next couple of weeks to promote their new album, Golden, in stores next Tuesday.

The CMA has announced that tickets to the Nightly Concerts at LP Field during the CMA Music Festival have sold out, a record six weeks in advance.  The festival will be held June 6-9 in Nashville and will once again be taped for an ABC special to air later this year.

Peyton Manning joined Luke Bryan onstage at a show in Indy over the weekend.
