Keith Urban Surprises A Young Fan With A Gift

Keith Urban was on The View yesterday and met one of his biggest fans. Eleven year old Carson says when he was 4 years old he saw Keith on the CMA Awards and that is what inspired him to learn to play guitar.  After a short performance from Carson, Keith presented him with a new guitar from the new line that he is involved in building.

Toby Keith‘s Twister Relief Concert that he held back in July raised nearly $2 million.  The funds will go to the United Way of Central Oklahoma’s May Tornadoes Relief Fund.  The 8 hour show included performances by Toby, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Ronnie Dunn and more.

Filming will reportedly begin this month on a movie based on Brad Paisley‘s song, I Can’t Change the World, from his Wheelhouse cd.  Brad wrote the script for the movie and was surprised that while it was the first time he’d written a movie, it felt pretty natural.  “What I was really the most shocked about was that it feels organic, and it feels like something that I have a knack for. As I was writing this script, I really do feel like I have a knack for writing these things, and I say that humbly knowing I’ve got a long way to go, but it’s fun to think about the ways that music can be served by crossing into a few of these things.”
