Jo Dee Messina worried for her family in Massachusetts

Jo Dee Messina is asking for prayers for her family in Watertown, MA where police are conducting a manhunt for the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings.  She shared her concerns on her Twitter and Facebook pages early today when she heard the news.  Jo Dee had been texting her cousin for details and said a delayed response made her nervous.  Jo Dee also revealed that her cousin was running the Boston Marathon and was just a few blocks away from the finish at the time of the explosions.

Kenny Chesney says the recent bombings have really got him thinking about his shows at Gillette Stadium in Boston August 23rd and 24th. He says security is always pretty tight at his concerts anyway so it will not stop him from playing.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are on the cover of the latest issue of US Weekly.  In an interview with the magazine the couple talks about the rules of their marriage, most of them created by Miranda.  The issue is on newsstands today.

Jenelle was sent home last night on American Idol and only 4 remain. Keith Urban says at this point any one of them could win.  We’ll have to wait until the finale, May 16th to find out.

Willie Nelson‘s show in Austin will now be a benefit show for the town of West, TX after this weeks explosion at a fertilizer plant.  Willie’s hometown of Abbott is just a few miles from West.
