George Strait To Serve As Honorary Captain For The Cowboys

George Strait will be joining the Dallas Cowboys on the field Sunday.  No, he’s not playing QB, George will serve as honorary captain for the coin toss prior to kickoff.  It won’t be his first trip to AT&T Stadium in Dallas.  George’s concert in 2009 with Reba & Blake Shelton was the first event held at the venue.  On Monday, George will be back at the stadium holding a press conference regarding his Cowboy Rides Away Tour.

Oh, there’s a football game after King George tosses the coin on Sunday.  The Cowboys will open their 2013 season against the NY Giants.
