George Strait & Alan Jackson CMA Performance

George Strait and Alan Jackson will perform together at the CMA Awards next month, to pay tribute to the late George Jones.  More performers were announced yesterday including Florida Georgia Line and the shows hosts, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.  The CMA awards will be handed out November 6th.

Jason Aldean is releasing his live DVD today.  Night Train To Georgia features concert footage from his shows at Sanford Stadium in Georgia, Wrigley Field and Fenway Park, with appearances by Luke Bryan and Kelly Clarkson.  You’ll also see behind the scenes footage and personal interviews.

It was a busy weekend for Miranda Lambert who opened her second Pink Pistol location.  The new store is located in her hometown of Lindale, TX.  While she was in town, the Lindale Public Library announced they were dedicating a new section of the library to Miranda.  All of the books in the Miranda Lambert section will be about animals and pets.
