Over 35,000 runners are participating in the 118th running of the Boston Marathon today.  One of those is Dierks Bentley‘s wife, Cassidy.  Dierks won’t be joining his wife on the run but he will be on the sideline, with their kids, holding a sign and cheering her on.

Kevin Sharp passed away Saturday night at his mother’s home in California of complications from past surgeries and digestive issues. The digestive problems and surgeries were a result of the chemotherapy and radiation treatments he went through in high school to fight bone cancer. Kevin’s biggest hit was his debut single, Noboday Knows, which spent 4 weeks at number 1 in 1996.  Kevin Sharp was 43.

Chris Young has been chosen, country music’s Hottest Bachelor, by Country Weekly readers.  Brantley Gilbert, Gary Allan and Scotty McCreery also made the list.  You can see the entire top 10 list in the April 28 issue of Country Weekly.

Miranda Lambert spent Friday afternoon standing outside an Oklahoma Walmart and using her star power to help dogs get adopted.  She shared photos of the pets and their new families on Twitter.
