Carrie Underwood to Perform At Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s good friend, Gwenyth Paltrow is going through a rough time right now and they wanted to help her out so they loaned her their island.  Last week after announcing they were separating, Gwenyth, her husband, Chris Martin and their children took off for a vacation on Tim and Faith’s private island in the Bahamas.

Carrie Underwood will perform at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 10.  She’ll join Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Emmylou Harris in a performance to honor inductee, Linda Ronstadt.

Carrie Underwood recently delivered gifts to the American Idol season 13 finalists.  The girls got necklaces, the boys got dog tags and they each got handwritten letters from the season 4 winner. The top 8 finalists will perform the first song they auditioned with in a 2 hour episode of Idol tonight on Fox.

Not everyone in Dublin is thrilled about Garth Brooks Comeback Special concerts. The Irish Examiner is reporting that residents near the venue are picketing in protest of the 5 sold out shows that they say break the agreement limiting the number of shows at the park.
