Artist of the Year Nominees Announced

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes and Tim McGraw will be honored as this year’s  Artists of the Year.  Jason has been honored every year since the first ceremony took place in 2010.  Luke was honored last year but it’s the first time for the rest of the guys.  The event will include appearances from many elite guests in the entertainment business and will air live on CMT December 3rd.

The Country Radio Broadcasters Board of Directors have announced that Carrie Underwood will receive the 2014 Artist Humanitarian Award.  She will be honored during opening ceremonies of the Country Radio Seminar in February.

Congratulations to Cassadee Pope.  The season 3 winner of The Voice released her debut album last week and it has debuted at the top of the Billboard Country Album chart.   Frame By Frame sold 43,000 copies in the first week making Cassadee the best selling Voice contestant ever.   I bet her coach, Blake Shelton is very proud!
