ACM New Artist Semi-finalists Announced

The eight semi-finalists have been announced for ACM New Artist of the Year. Beginning January 21st fans can begin voting for their favorite at VoteACM.com and the category will be narrowed down to the top 3.  The semi-finalists include Lee BriceBrett EldredgeTyler FarrJustin Moore, Kip MooreKacey MusgravesThomas Rhett and Parmalee

Two country artists have made Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30 ” list.  The list includes the brightest stars under 30 in 15 different fields.  Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes have made the list this year.  It’s the first time Hunter has made the list.

Congratulations to Joe Nichols and his wife Heather. The couple is expecting their second child this summer.  Joe made the announcement on Twitter yesterday.  The couple’s daughter, Dylan River, will be 2 in April and Joe has a 15 year old daughter, Ashelyn from a previous relationship.
