Randy Travis was airlifted to a Texas hospital on Sunday and is listed in critical condition.  According to a press release from his publicist, Randy is suffering complications of viral cardiomyopathy, a weakening of the heart muscles caused by a viral infection.  Randy’s sister-in-law, Teresa Traywick, says he underwent heart surgery yesterday. UPDATE:  A representative for Randy says he has NOT undergone heart surgery.  He did have a procedure done but it was not technically surgery.  He remains in critical condition.
