Superstar singer Taylor Swift was among the stars celebrated at the Country Music Awards of Australia (CMAA) ceremony Down Under over the weekend.
The “Love Story” star landed a Golden Guitar prize for her hit record “Red,” which was named Top Selling International Album Of The Year during the ceremony in Tamworth, Australia on Saturday night.
Swift, who missed out on the Album of the Year prize at the Grammys a day later, was not present to collect her trophy.
Other big winners at the ceremony included Lee Kernaghan, who was named Male Artist Of The Year, while his track “Flying With The King” was hailed as Single of the Year, and Sara Storer, who collected Female Artist Of The Year and the night’s top prize, Album Of The Year, for “Lovegrass.”
Country veteran Ted Egan was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
