Fans of the Disney blockbuster “Frozen” can get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the animated film in a new special set to air tonight on ABC.
â€śThe Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classicâ€ť will give viewers an exclusive look at the origins and evolution of the Academy Award-winning film, which shattered box office records to become the biggest animated feature of all time.
The movie grossed more than $400 million and helped propel the soundtrack, which featured Top 40 hit “Let It Go,” to be named the year’s best-selling record.
â€śFrozenâ€ť stars Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel were interviewed for the special, that also promises a look at the Norwegian villages and landscapes that inspired the look of Arendelle.
Disney says the special will include an “exciting announcement” about the next chapter of â€śFrozen.”
â€śThe Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classicâ€ť airs at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 2.
