Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell in talks to reunite onscreen

Mark Wahlberg is in talks to reunite with his “The Other Guys” co-star Will Ferrell in new comedy “Daddy’s Home.”

The movie will feature Ferrell as a radio executive who has to compete against his stepkids’ biological father, potentially played by Wahlberg, to win their love.

The film was originally slated to begin production last year with Vince Vaughn attached to Wahlberg’s role and Etan Cohen in place to direct, but the movie project fell apart.

Filmmakers Sean Anders and John Morris are now in discussions to direct the movie, with production slated to begin this autumn, according to Deadline.com.
