Country star Hunter Hayes has set a Guinness World Record for most concerts played across multiple cities in 24 hours.

The Wanted hitmaker kicked off his 24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger on Friday with a performance on “Good Morning America” in New York City, the first of 10 shows in 10 cities.

Hayes continued his whirlwind trek in Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; New London, New Haven and Stamford, Connecticut; South Orange and Asbury Park, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The tour was a partnership with packaged food company ConAgra Foods to help raise awareness of child hunger and beat The Flaming Lips’ record of eight gigs in one day.
