NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Nothing like a little extra elbow room — even if it costs $100 million dollars.
That’s the amount that the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has dropped to expand its digs in Nashville.
The additional space has more than doubled the space the museum has to show off its items — and includes more interactive and contemporary exhibits. The new expansion will be opened tomorrow.
Among the additions to the museum: an educational wing named after Taylor Swift.
A museum official says it’s hoped the extra room will draw more fans of current country music.
