“Downton Abbey” actor Hugh Bonneville is urging TV bosses to give rap giant Sean “Diddy” Combs a role after he previously joked about joining the cast.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker baffled fans last year when he announced he had landed a part in the hit British period drama, but it later emerged he had merely shot an online spoof for comedy website FunnyOrDie.com.

However Bonneville, who plays the Earl of Grantham in the show, has revealed he is a big fan of the rapper and loves the idea of handing him a role.

He tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “It would be amazing to get P. Diddy (sic) on. Downton Diddy. Brilliant. I’m keen to spread the Downton love.”

Shkreli has bragged that he had no plans to listen to the album, but bought it to "keep it from the people."
