Funnyman Billy Crystal has scored his first full-time TV gig in 30 years in a new series titled “The Comedians.”

The show is set behind-the-scenes at a late-night sketch comedy show, and Crystal plays a veteran comedian who is paired with an edgier newcomer, portrayed by “Frozen” star Josh Gad.

Crystal is set to write and executive produce the series, which is slated to air next year.

The show marks Crystal’s first full-time role on the small screen in nearly three decades after his one-season stint on “Saturday Night Live” in 1985.
