Amber Dalton, Broker/Realtor Specializing in Buying, Selling, Relocation
As a Realtor for Stefanie Pratt & Associates I work with clients to list and buy properties locally in Champaign-Urbana, and also in the surrounding areas in Central Illinois. I truly enjoy working with both buyers and sellers as it’s a very rewarding process where I get to assist them with a major step in their lives. Whether it’s a first time home buyer and everything is new, or a retired couple selling and looking to downsize, I feel privileged to help and love the relationships that are created along the way.
I previously worked as a receptionist for Coldwell Banker while attending the University of Illinois from 2002-2005. After receiving my teaching degree in May of 2005, I found myself more intrigued with real estate than I had planned. It was hard not to follow the path to becoming a licensed Realtor after working in such a great office and becoming a part of the Coldwell Banker family, not to mention there’s a long line of Realtors in my family. I received my Real Estate License in 2005 and joined Stefanie’s team in 2006 as a licensed Realtor and assistant/marketing coordinator. I transitioned into a full-time agent late 2009, but I value the knowledge and experience I gained in the position to better serve my clients.
I look forward to the road ahead and delight in the accomplishments we have already made!

I was born in Champaign and grew up in Urbana Illinois. I graduated from Urbana High School. I joined the United States Marines Corps after graduation where I spent the next 8 years, working in the Aviation field, loading weapons on the A-6 Attack Aircraft.
I left the Marines in 1989. I loved the military so I decided to go into law enforcement after my tour and spent 16 years locally. I worked on the Rantoul and Champaign departments as a Patrol Officer, including over 8 years as a K-9 Officer. I am honored to have served the people of these communities. It is truly an honorable and rewarding profession.
In 2010, I decided to pursue my long time interest in Real Estate. I signed on with Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell as a Licensed Real Estate Agent. In 2012, I transitioned into the position as a Real Estate Broker. In January of 2013 I signed on to join the Award Winning Team of Stefanie Pratt & Associates. I am honored to join this fantastic team. I look forward to learning and working side by side this outstanding group of Realtors where I will be working with both Buyers and Sellers. It is so rewarding to help people with their real estate needs.
I look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to buy a home or sell a home in the future.

I was born and raised in Villa Grove, a small central Illinois community, and graduated from Villa Grove High School. I received my Associate’s Degree in Marketing from Parkland College, followed by my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Franklin University.
Throughout college, I maintained a position on the Dean’s List and graduated with honors at both Parkland College and Franklin University. My real estate background is diverse and features experience in commercial and residential real estate, property management, appraisal review, and commercial lending compliance. I am an Illinois licensed real estate broker, and I have trained at Coldwell Banker Devonshire Realty in the relocation division, worked as an Office Coordinator at Coldwell Banker Devonshire Realty, and worked as a Tenant Relations Manager at Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty. Most recently, I began working at Busey Bank as a Commercial Real Estate Services Coordinator.
Being active in the communities of Central Illinois has always been especially important to me. I feel that it is a responsibility of mine to give back and help grow the communities of Central Illinois, and I believe that it all starts with our youth.
I began volunteering as an assistant dance coach at Unity High School in Tolono in 2008 and served in that role until 2010 when I accepted a position as head dance coach at my alma mater, Villa Grove High School. In 2012, I was proud to lead the Villa Grove Devilettes to win their first State Championship. In order to grow the dance program and support youth activities in the community, I began sponsoring a competitive junior high dance team through Villa Grove Summer Recreation. I also currently serve on the executive board of the Illinois Drill Team Association as a regional representative and represent the interest of dance teams in Champaign, Vermilion, Piatt, DeWitt, Macon, Moultrie, and Shelby counties.
I am an active supporter of the March of Dimes, and have participated in many of the March for Babies walks. I began serving on the committee for the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction in Champaign in 2012 after attending the event as a guest in 2011. As an avid anti-bullying supporter, I, along with the members of the dance teams that I coach, host and participate in local fundraisers and awareness activities that support the National Bullying Prevention Center.
In 2012, I was named as a recipient of the Central Illinois Forty Under 40 awards.
