WIXY and Rick Ridings present the Carson & Barnes Circus, this Friday and Saturday! Carson & Barnes is the oldest, family-owned circus in America, and one of the few that still performs under the big top. You’re kids will marvel at the elephants, camels, clowns, acrobats, aerialists, horses, jugglers, dogs, flying trapeze… and a variety of acts.

The big top will take over the grass area of Blain’s Farm & Fleet along Route 45 in Urbana for five performances: Friday, June 27th at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 28th at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. The circus midway will open approximately 45 minutes before show time and entrance to the tent is approximately 30 minutes before the show. The midway will feature concessions and a petting zoo.

A two hour show and 45 minutes of fun on the midway all for $5! Tickets are only $5.00 in advance and will be at full price on the day of show. Regular tickets are priced up to $22.00. Tickets will be on sale at the WIXY studios (M-F 8am-5pm), at Blain’s Farm & Fleet and at a number of “ticket stops” around the area. CASH ONLY.

– Still cameras are welcome at the show, but NO VIDEO CAMERAS ALLOWED.
– There is a handicapped entrance and seating and special parking near the handicapped entrance.
– Strollers are allowed on show grounds, but must be parked in the assigned area inside the tent.
