Cash Cow Contest Rules

Cash Cow Contest Rules

WIXY $1000 Cash Cow…Starting March 31-April 25, 2014 … Listen weekdays approximately 9am to 4pm (8am to 3pm Central/6am to 1pm Pacific), up to three times a day, for the Cash Cow text word.  When you hear the specified contest word you must text the correctly spelled word to 77000. Text entries for each contest play will be accepted until 10 minutes after the hour, of each specific contest episode. WIXY reserves the right to extend the texting deadline, if deemed necessary. WIXY may choose to announce a contest word more than one time during the permitted window, but there is no obligation to announce the word multiple times in any single contest play or in subsequent contest plays. Message and data rates may apply. One text per play.

WIXY will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations affiliated with WIXY, and in various states.  Listeners of WIXY will, therefore, be competing with listeners of other radio stations to win the same prize. A station will be chosen at random from all the participating radio stations. Then a text received by that station will be chosen at random.  The cell phone number from the chosen text will be called and the reaction recorded for broadcast.  If unable to speak with the contestant who sent the text within 5 minutes from the time that contestant’s cell number is dialed, then the $1,000 prize will be forfeited and another random text will be chosen with the same procedure until a winner is determined. WIXY is not responsible for any difficulties contacting WIXY or entering the Contest, any malfunctions or errors, whether technical or typographical or human error, experienced due to overload, internet availability or texting server issues. Text messages are sent through third party providers; WIXY does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any text message entry. Prize will be available within 10 business days. Be safe… Don’t text and drive
